 gain conducting hygiene training sessions — the "Meatball Diploma"\, as 
 it's called in German slang — for everyone involved in food preparation 
 for others.\n\nThe goal is to raise awareness of a hygienic environment su
 rrounding the preparation and serving of food at 39C3 and\, consequently\,
  to contribute to a higher level of healthiness of us all.\n\n\nIdeally\, 
 this training is preceeded initially by an instruction by the relevant pub
 lic health department (Gesundheitsamt). Even better\, of course\, is if yo
 u have already attended "follow-up training"\, for example\, at 38C3 or CC
 CCamp.\n\nIf you have any relevant documents\, please bring them along so 
 we can update\, stamp\, and sign your proof of training. :-)\n\nOf course
 \, we also welcome everyone who is joining us for the first time without p

 raffic visible. This is a beginner’s workshop. If you toyed with Wiresha

 e casual user\, lots of computers communicate and work together to deliver
  the kitten videos you’re craving. In this workshop\, we use the tool Wi
 reshark (available for all operating systems) to make this communication v
 isible. In lots of life demos\, we’ll learn that the domain names we’r
 e familiar with\, like ccc.de or fridaysforfuture.de\, are a thin layer ar
 ound IP addresses\, which are the real addresses computers use to identify
  themselves. We’ll uncover which hidden information your browser sends a
 long each request\, and we’ll see how easy it is to intercept traffic.\n
 \nThis workshop is for everybody who is interested in knowing how the Inte
 rnet works\, in which form computers talk to each other. Absolutely no pre
 requisites are required. People who are familiar with network stacks will

 akthroughs in artificial intelligence circumvent these barriers by employi
 ng quite a different approach: They use artificial neural networks\, which

 e unique feature of artificial neural nets is that they aren't rigid\, but
  can learn. Human programmers specify their rough structure and supply tra
 ining data\, but don't write a single line of code governing their behavio
 r.\n\n**In the spirit of a good Unix command-line tool\, this talk aspires
  to explain one thing and explain it well: How do artificial neural nets a
 ccomplish the feat of learning?**\n\nWe'll learn that the answer is relate
 d to a mathematical breakthrough made at the end of the 17th century and d
 iscuss why deep learning only surged in the last few years\, even though t
 he basics of artificial neural nets were already understood in the 1980s.

 fs that stand in the way of investigators. Making sense of a large volume 
 of data is marketed as being a textbook use-case for generative AI. We beg
  to differ.\n\nDescription: Making sense of large amounts of unstructured 
 data makes users reach for prompting a chatbot. Newsrooms and organization
 s we work with hope to “ask questions” in a chat window\, instead of s
 earching through their data. But these same users rightfully demand accura
 cy and deterministic results. If they don’t find exactly what they are l
 ooking for\, they doubt the efficiency of the entire software stack.\n\nOu
 r experience\, at the Data and Research Center (darc.li) with supporting r
 esearch and investigations with algorithms and infrastructure led to insig
 hts about how to answer difficult questions in a deterministic way.\n\nThi
 s session will walk the audience through several features that surface nam
